Living Nutrition Kef-Flamex brings turmeric, rosemary, green tea and reishi together in one capsule. An appealing combination if you enjoy being active and choose an organic supplement with several ingredients. The blend is fermented in small quantities and then processed into a dry powder.

Four ingredients, each with its own character
Turmeric for flexible joints
Turmeric supports flexible joints. This fits with the attention you give to movement, whether you enjoy walking, cycling or sport.
Kef-Flamex uses the root of the turmeric plant. It naturally contains curcumin, the yellow pigment turmeric is known for. You get the fermented root, with the various substances naturally present in it.
Rosemary and green tea as antioxidants
Rosemary and green tea contain antioxidants. These substances help neutralise free radicals: particles that can damage cells. Free radicals arise, for example, during normal processes in your body.
This formula contains the leaves of both plants. Green tea contains catechins, among other things, a group of plant antioxidants. These two ingredients therefore bring something different to the blend from turmeric root.
Reishi for your immune defences
Reishi is traditionally used to support immune defences. This mushroom, also known as Ganoderma lucidum, has a long history in Asia.
Kef-Flamex contains reishi spores. These are the tiny particles the mushroom uses to reproduce. They are also included in fermentation, together with the three plant ingredients.
What makes the fermentation special?
You may know fermentation from yoghurt or sauerkraut. Bacteria and yeasts convert substances in the ingredients during this process. Living Nutrition uses cultures from kefir and kombucha and lets the blend ferment in small quantities.
It is therefore a process applied to the ingredients themselves. The turmeric root, the two types of leaf and the reishi spores go through this process together before being put into capsules.
The blend is then freeze-dried. Moisture is removed from the frozen blend, leaving a dry powder. No hot drying stage is needed.
What is in Kef-Flamex?
Each capsule contains 300 mg of the fermented blend. All four ingredients make up an equal share.
| Ingredient | Per capsule | Per day (2 capsules) |
|---|---|---|
| Fermented turmeric root | 75 mg | 150 mg |
| Fermented rosemary leaf | 75 mg | 150 mg |
| Fermented green tea leaf | 75 mg | 150 mg |
| Fermented reishi spores | 75 mg | 150 mg |
| Total | 300 mg | 600 mg |
The active ingredients are certified organic and GMO-free: no genetically modified ingredients are used. The shell is a plant-based capsule.
How do you take the capsules?
For adults, take one capsule twice a day with food and a glass of water. A capsule with breakfast and one with dinner is one convenient way to spread them out.
At this dosage, the jar lasts 30 days. This works out at €1.00 per day.
When does Kef-Flamex suit you?
Kef-Flamex suits you if you want to take organic herbs and reishi in one supplement. You are choosing a fermented combination, with a fixed amount per capsule. This makes it easy to use the blend without weighing out different powders yourself.
The composition also fits if you eat a vegan diet or avoid gluten and dairy. A practical choice when you are looking for these particular ingredients together and value how they are prepared.
About Living Nutrition
Living Nutrition is a British company that has made fermented supplements since 2014. Founder Graham Botfield is a nutritional therapist and developed the brand from his interest in herbs and fermentation.
Preparation is done by hand, in small quantities. The capsules go into a dark glass jar, which helps keep light out. Among our food supplements, this makes Kef-Flamex an appealing choice for fans of fermented herbal blends.

Frequently asked questions
Can I open the capsules?
Yes, you can twist the capsule open and mix the powder into yoghurt, a smoothie or other cold food. This is useful if you prefer not to swallow capsules. Do not mix it into hot food or drinks.
Does Kef-Flamex contain caffeine?
Yes, green tea naturally contains caffeine. Bear this in mind if you are sensitive to caffeine or want to avoid it entirely.
Does it contain milk because of fermentation with kefir?
No, Kef-Flamex is dairy-free and contains no lactose. Fermentation uses cultures also found in kefir. The capsules are entirely plant-based.
Do the capsules need to be refrigerated?
No, a dry, cool cupboard is fine. Close the jar tightly after use to keep moisture away from the powder.
How does it differ from a regular turmeric capsule?
In addition to turmeric, Kef-Flamex contains rosemary, green tea and reishi. The ingredients are also fermented together. You are therefore choosing a blend of four ingredients, not just turmeric.
